Sports News: Australia Women A vs India Women A: The Indian Women 'A' team suffered a crushing defeat against Australia 'A' in the second unofficial T20 match played at the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay. The Indian team was bowled out for just 73 runs and lost the three-match series 2-0 with a massive defeat of 114 runs.

Australia's brilliant bowling and the poor strategy of the Indian batsmen made this defeat even more shameful. Shafali Verma was the star batsman in the Indian team, but even after this, Team India had to face a shameful defeat.

Australia's explosive batting

Australia 'A,' who came to bat first, scored a huge score of 187 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Alyssa Healy played a quick innings of 70 runs in 44 balls, which became the foundation of her team's victory. Tahlia Wilson (43) and Anika Learoyd (35) made excellent contributions, while Courtney Webb remained unbeaten after scoring 26 runs. Among the Indian bowlers, Radha Yadav took 2 wickets, but her bowling was expensive. Prema Rawat also took 2 wickets, but it was difficult to stop Australia's score.

Shameful performance by Indian batting

The Indian team had a very bad start while chasing the target. After losing four wickets in the powerplay itself, the team came under pressure, and there was no hope of a comeback. Except for Minnu Mani and Vrinda Dinesh, no batsman could cross the double-digit mark. The entire team collapsed for 73 runs in 15.1 overs.

Australia's bowler Kim Garth performed brilliantly and took 4 wickets, in which she gave only 7 runs. Tess Flintoff and Amy Edgar took 2-2 wickets, while Lucy Hamilton and Sienna Ginger took 1-1 wickets.

The challenge of a comeback in the last match

After losing the series, the Indian women's 'A' team now faces the challenge of saving its honor in the third and final T20 match to be held on Sunday, August 10. The team will have to improve its batting and strategy so that the stain of this defeat against Australia can be washed away to some extent.
